Inexpensive Craft Ideas

Tired of hearing "I'm bored." from your children's mouths?  Looking for things to do that don't require being plugged in?  Here are some great craft ideas that will keep your kids entertained!

Shrinky Dinks provide hours of entertainment!  Draw from a template or create your own design.  Pop them in the oven and they come out hardened and miniature.  Create your own ornaments, key chains, or jewelry.

Why buy beads to make jewelry when you can make the beads yourself?  Try this Origami Jewelry Making Kit and make beads from beautiful paper.

Calendar Kits are an easy way to create a personal calendar for yourself or your loved one.  Add pictures, stickers, and embellishments to make the calendar unique!

Perler Beads are a great craft for kids and adults alike!  Put the beads on special trays in various shapes and patterns.  Once your design is complete, use your household iron to melt them into place.  Make them into magnets, bookmarks, and coasters.  These provide hours of entertainment!

Latch hook kits are great for older children or adults.  The kit includes the yarn, pattern, and the fabric needed to make a stylish pillow.

If none of these craft ideas appeal to you, check out the Big A** Book of Crafts for other ideas.
